THE MAKING OF: "KLAUS ENVIRONMENTS"

The Klaus Environments are a series of three snap shots from the Netflix movie "Klaus." My group and I decided to go with this project idea because we wanted to close out 2025 with a themed project.
Similarly to the Mystery Shack project, my roles on this environment were project manager and modeler. I enjoyed collaborating with my team and organizing the various structures that helped our group stay on track with our three distinct scenes.
Modelers who worked on this project include: Paul Saetae, Tessa Ashlin, Kristian White, Dhruv Desai, Sebastian Rodriguez, and Arwen Varner
Each of our scenes (bottom larger image) were based on a real scene from the film (top left) to ensure accuracy and mood.
The scene I worked most on was our first one; although I, just like everyone else, were assigned models for each scene.
This snowy cabin, boulders, and snow were my assets for this scene

Scene two was the interior of a workshop. One of the biggest things that helped us during this scene was that a great deal of things could be continued from their proxies, ultimately saving time.
I was tasked with modeling the broom and the middle shelf.
Some of the many things that went on behind the scenes were:
+ File organization
+ Communication
+ Visual guides
+ Asset Lists
+ Schedules
+ Weekly meetings with
the team and our director
A little bit more about our process was that we went through the full pre production, production, and post production steps. All of this had to be meticulously planned and talked through to ensure a smooth project.

This was arguably the most challenging scenes match stylistically. We had to match depth of field and add the proper amount of filler to make match the scene.
