THE MAKING OF: "THE MYSTERY SHACK"
The Mystery Shack was a collaborative effort between modelers: Gabriel Yacotu, Nathan Roldan, Thomas Mann, Emnet Dargie, and Arwen Varner. Our project was recreating Gravity Falls' "Mystery Shack."
Our Group was allotted three weeks for this project so it was imperative that we stay on task and manage our time efficiently. My roles on this project were project manager as well as a modeler. I created the schedule, outlines, and checked in on members in order to keep things on track.
The models I was in charge of were:
+ Cool Container
+ Question Mark Weathervane
+ Vase
+ Sofa
+ Wood Planks (leaning on gift shop side)
+ Pine Trees
Additionally, scenes pictured were lit and staged by Arwen Varner.
The Mystery Shack was a wonderful project to practice exteriors and engage in more collaboration with peers opposed to working solo. I enjoyed bouncing ideas around with fellow modelers and learning different work flows.
